PHYSICS TEACHER
The MacDuffie School in Springfield, MA. seeks an experienced candidate to teach 9th grade Conceptual Physics. This course is the first year of our 'Physics First' upper school science sequence that prepares students for Chemistry, Biology and advanced electives. We seek an individual with the ability to engage students intellectually through a range of teaching methods. Those with experience using inquiry-based teaching methods are encouraged to apply. Our students are motivated to learn and enjoy a challenging curriculum. Responsibilities include teaching a fulltime load of four sections with weekly labs and serving as a student advisor. B.S. degree required, M.S. degree preferred. Major or minor in Physics or equivalent.
