Welcome to MacDuffie Admissions

You will learn a great deal of information about the School on this website, but MacDuffie is so much more! It is people - a community of students, faculty, parents and alumni that embraces the values of integrity and respect. It is a place where opportunities for creativity, leadership and academic excellence abound.

Who are MacDuffie students?
MacDuffie seeks students who find joy in learning and who are motivated to succeed in an academically challenging environment. MacDuffie students set high goals and then work hard to achieve them in the classrooms, in student government and clubs, in athletics and in the visual and performing arts.

There is no “typical” MacDuffie student. We are a diverse community of students from around the corner and around the world. Each student is a unique individual with an individual voice and an individual journey to take. Students at MacDuffie are encouraged to explore who they are, who they strive to become and how to achieve their personal goals. They learn the value of individual achievement through academics and also discover the rewards of contributing to the community through a wide range of extracurricular activities and community service opportunities.

How do I begin?
If this kind of educational experience sounds exciting to you, I invite you to visit our MacDuffie community -- first through this website, and then by joining us on campus for an Open House and a school visit day. Visiting the School in person is the surest way to learn who we are - to see the faces of our diverse community, to hear the voices of our dedicated faculty and to experience the intellectual excitement in our classrooms.

To contact admissions, you can call or e-mail us directly or you can fill out an inquiry form online and we will send an application packet to you in the mail. If you have questions or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact Matthew Kenny, Susan Clayton, Amy Correa or me in the Admissions office. We would be happy to help you in any way that we can.

I hope that you enjoy your visit to MacDuffie on the web, and I look forward to meeting you on campus very soon so that I can welcome you in person to our dynamic MacDuffie community!
