Middle School Assembly
With various stations set up by Micky McKinley from the Hitchcock Center for the Environment, the eighth grade learned about alternative energy during their Wednesday assembly on April 2.
In each station, students had to light a bulb using different kinds of alternative energy – wind power, solar power, water power, and handmade generators. At the end, they discussed the different ways to cut down on carbon dioxide use.
